Dentist Meopham

A dental bridge is a single artificial (or prosthetic) tooth or a number of artificial teeth in a row that are made specifically for you. A dental bridge is shaped to look exactly like a natural tooth and is made from ceramic material to feel just as smooth as dental enamel.

While some people choose metallic bridges, at Meopham Dental Care, we recommend tooth-coloured bridges for a more attractive dental appearance.

How is a dental bridge fitted?

There are many different types of bridges we can recommend for you. Traditional bridges are held in place by dental crowns on the teeth either side of the gap and adhesive bridges adhere to a single supportive tooth next to the gap. Depending on the type of bridge we use, your surrounding teeth may require some preparation.

How long do dental bridges last?

A dental bridge can last for many years, and we’ll advise you on how to best look after it.
